Local painting legend Jay Alders will live paint outside of Storehouse! There will also be a gallery wall featuring his work that will be avaliable for purchase.
The amazing trio behind Philadelphia based Forge & Finish will teach participants how to make a custom fit double finger ring using a bronze or sterling silver sheet. Each person will leave the workshop with a finished product and better understanding of hand fabricated jewelry.
This workshop will be a total of four hours broken into 1 hour time slots. We can accommodate approx 4-5 people at a time comfortably. Everyone will get specialized attention. Feel free to pick which session time works best for you.

Learn how to make your own reclaimed wood wall art. We will provide a selection of painted and raw barnwood, driftwood and other found pieces. We will be sanding, cutting, hammering, and gluing. In addition, we will teach you how to copper stamp and let you pick a word or two to add to your pieces.

Art Star Pop Up at Storehouse all of Memorial Day Weekend
Art Star is a gallery and boutique located in Philadelphia that is owned and operated by Megan Brewster and Erin Waxman. They carry a curated collection of handmade and independently designed products by over 50 local and national artists. Their gallery space exhibits the work of multiple emerging and mid-career artists throughout the year. They aim to stock affordable art and high-quality handmade goods for everyone to enjoy.
Art Star plans to bring all of their favorite handmade products to our Pop Up at Storehouse. Shoppers can expect a varieity of goods like clothing, jewelry, prints, original art, baby gifts, cards, home goods and more! They also host the Art Star Craft Bazaar, an award winning indie craft fair, twice a year in Philadelphia and have recently expanded the show to Asbury Park, NJ. Visit the bazaar in Asbury Park on July 29th and 30th in Bradley Park, right across from Convention Hall. The show will feature up to 60 curated art and craft vendors - many of whom have never shown before in Asbury.

Join us for a lovely Mother's Day modern macrame workshop followed by a crepe paper flower workshop at STOREHOUSE on the Asbury Park Boardwalk on May 14th where you will learn to the basic knots necessary to create a plant hanger of your own and then learn to create a paper flower bouquet to fill it. Hosted in partnership with the Asbury Park Bazaar.
- 12-2pm- modern macrame workshop taught by Ashley Burk of Steady Hand creative, where you will learn the basics of macrame and it's many applications. All supplies needed to create your hanger will be provided including a vase for your paper flower bouquet.
- 2:30-5pm- crepe paper workshop taught by Sandy of Harley Rose Studio, where you will learn how to create 1 peony and 3 over sized buttercup flowers with artificial leaves and eucalyptus.

Faye & Renée Floral & Event Design, a Philadelphia based floral and event design company, will be selling gorgeous hand tied bouquets and build your own flower arrangements and Pop Shop Photobooth will offer cute photo strips so be sure to stop by the bazaar to take a photo and pick up flowers and a gift for your Mom or that special someone in your life!

Yoga on the beach! Hosted in partnership with the Asbury Park Bazaar, Alexa Rozzi will be teaching an open-level Vinyasa yoga class, meaning all yogis are welcome whether it's your first time unrolling a mat or you're an experienced practitioner. Modifications will be offered for each pose so those who attend can take the class to a level they are comfortable with.
Alexa Rozzi is a certified yoga instructor who teaches in New York and New Jersey. She believes the mindfulness, sense of community, and physical benefits of yoga can powerfully impact the world and aims to share the practice of yoga -- in its many forms -- with as many people as possible.
Donations go to Clean Water Fund's Rethink Disposable Program which reduces single use disposable plastic and foam waste right here in Asbury Park!
